Mother's Day Dinner at Mother's apt...this last tumble she took, she's not fit to go out in public. We'll be cooking steaks on the grill per her request, standard sides of baked potatoes, sauteed mushrooms, salad and dinner rolls.

Happy Mother's Day to all the Moms!!

We're going out to White Sands for the day, going to grill some sausages there (for lunch). Made potato salad and cole slaw last night. No idea what dinner will be, maybe just some leftover grilled chicken on a salad.

I made myself an egg, sausage, peppers, onion, and monterejack cheese burrito. Wrapped it up and took it to the beach; along with a spicy bloody mary. Watched the sunrise. Mom would of loved it. It was foggy, almost erie out, but a beautiful morning.

Dinner: I'm going to a an open house BBQ, which is catered. A fellow co-worker from years past is having it. Not really friends; but, more work related. They will provide many contacts for me in catering, etc; so, it's in my best interest to make an appearance. I'll show up, have a few cocktails, eat, socialize, then leave. No my scene, but good for business.

Made Sour Cream Gravy Bake for Chops or Chicken using the pork chop option. Brown rice with gravy on top with some steamed broccoli on the side.

    Comfort food.

My husband and son fixed pork ribs on the grill. I made ambrosia, cole slaw, baked sweet potatoes and baked beans for sides. It was a gorgeous day and I swam in the pool for the first time this season. Very lovely Mother's Day.
