Help! I'm trying to submit a recipe - and I keep getting an error message about not selecting a category. I have a category selected, but keep getting this error message:

You must specify no more than categories under You must specify no more than categories under You must specify no more than categories under You must specify no more than categories under You must specify no more than categories under

Anyone know what's happening or how to correct?
    Thanks!!

You have no more than one category? That means the subcategories, too. What browser/version are you using?

Yes - I've cleared everything and then just added one category.

Oh no... I use Firefox and always have trouble with this browser!!

I tried this in a different browser, but am getting the same error.
I have only clicked "main dish".
    Any other suggestions?
    Thanks!

I had that problem last week! Don't select a category and see if you're good to go without it! Mary can add the category for you after your recipe publishes ~ look for the stickied thread about Categories in this forum!

I just added a recipe (private) and had no problems. I don't know if it's because I kept it private, but that's the last step - I did not have any issues at the selecting categories stage.

I am using Firefox with Windows 7, in the event that makes a difference.

It is happening to me right now! I'm going to lose all my input because of this. Nothing but trouble with submitting recipes all week, and now it's the weekend so nothing can/will be done until next week. icon_evil.gif
I do NOT have more than three categories selected!
Will try de-selecting the categories and will report back.

ETA: No good. "You did not select any categories. You must select at least one category."
    Will try selecting only one.

ETA:No good, this is exactly what I get:
"You must specify no more than categories under" (sic).

ETA: Tried opening a new window and copying and pasting the original. No good. I am going to have to close the original window and lose the whole thing unless someone comes to the rescue soon (not realistically expecting that to happen, though). I had a lot of recipes to post this weekend, now it looks like I cannot. This site depends upon the recipes we submit, this is just craziness!

    Ugh.
I did a copy & paste of my recipe and saved it in an email so I won't have to re-type everything. Will try again later!

Good thinking! I'm going to save a Word copy. Still a pain in the butt, though.

Everyone who is trying to add recipes for the brand new Raiders of the Lost Pantry Cooking Contest has the same problem.

It doesn't matter if NO boxes are checked, it simply won't allow you to progress past that point.

You can't until they fix the problem, as it won't let you progress to that step. That is what I want to do, too, for now.
