I didn't actually tag this at the time, because I wasn't sure I would manage to make it in time, but I made a second recipe for my preemie Basque Princess #164167, Blackened Shrimp Stroganoff #144199, so if it's allowed, that would give her a full adoption icon_smile.gif and if not, well, then she got the review anyway icon_biggrin.gif sorry photo is a bit blurry icon_sad.gif lovely meal though!

well, it's the last day of PAC... and I have one more to report on. I tried Chef PinBox Mediterranean Chopped Chicken Wraps #RSC and it was really good. I felt like this was a recipe you could play with a little bit because there is a lot of stuff in it.

That's what I did. I used spinach tortilla's in place of pita's and I use rucola in place of spinach, and I used full fat French kwark in place of greek yogurt and I used a gryo powder mix from Knorr in place of Ranch dressing mix... all in all we really enjoyed this wrap/sandwich type meal...

the best thing of all... I have leftovers so I can eat it again for lunch icon_smile.gif

Hi all wave.gif Nancy may have made her way to Minnesota and gotten lost. We are in white out condition here so that could easily happen icon_lol.gif

Thanks, friend, for trying to help me out, but I don't think BK is buying it!
I'm probably headed for the final grand finale -- timeout chair. I'll bet Susie saved the best one for last! rotfl.gif rotfl.gif Nancy

Twiss will be so jealous -- she thinks she's the Queen of the time-out chairs! icon_wink.gif Nancy
How could I possibly be jealous icon_question.gif After all, I'm going to be the only PAC Host with a plush-soft Time-Out Chair that's been engraved esp for me. I haven't seen it yet, but that's what I requested. Hey Susie D & NWG icon_exclaim.gif -- Can we talk about my "Princess Time-Out Chair" pls icon_question.gif PAC is almost over & I'm growing impatient. icon_rolleyes.gif icon_wink.gif

So BK wants to know our favorite PAC recipe finds, huh icon_question.gif From the lists I've seen, i'm glad she didn't insist on an exact # of recipes like 2 for the BEST OF ZWT. ... Here are mine:

Dad's Curry by Sean 72 (Delicious Indian Curry)

Restaurant Style Mexican Rice by Canamari (You can take the girl outta TX, but you can't take TX outta the girl)

Princeling's Summer Salad and Georgia's City Chicken by Peachy326 (She got a 2-fer & I still swoon at the thought of the gravy)

Tortilla Pie by Jubes (You can take the girl outta TX, but you can't take TX outta the girl ... Is there an echo in this thread icon_question.gif )

Easy Baked Beans by Cindy Rose (Best of the Best & I've got 2 guys willing to testify)

... & finally ... You have to wait till later today. It's my last recipe, the only dessert I picked to make & it is so yummy.gif

Sadly I had to order so many time out chairs this year it seems next year's batch may be a bit more rustic. There's no money in the budget for plush. You might want to save some newspapers and weave a cushion. At least you'll have something to do this summer besides run your patio cafe. rotfl.gif

Wait until you see next year's lodgings. icon_lol.gif

    Hi Twissis,

Oops! I guess you saw that comment. I was really hoping to get that Grand Finale time-out chair so I could show you up, but looks like you will hold onto your title -- for now! icon_smile.gif

Sorry, that our PAC budget ran a little low -- at least your time-out "log" has plenty of room for all of us. icon_lol.gif Just be careful that you don't get any splinters in your bottom. rotfl.gif rotfl.gif

    wave.gif Hi again everyone icon_exclaim.gif wave.gif

I'm back w/you now for the next 2 hrs, I promise. I see I have a bit of catching up to do, so talk amongst yourselves & I'll get right on it.

Hopefully, there will be time for me to show you something pretty .. my last PAC recipe that just happened to be finished when I found out I was having an unexpected guest. My guest is gone now & I did take pics, but I haven't reviewed the recipe or edited the pics. I gotta be a good PAC Host first & get all your completions noted. Hopefully, I'll also be able to go back & admire the lovely pics you've been posting.

    Hey pammy,

I've heard that baking bread and cookies for your Hosties is good therapy! icon_wink.gif

Maybe that will help -- if not, go buy yourself something you want, but don't need. Works for me every time! icon_lol.gif
