    Copycat Recipe for pasta house

    Newbie "Fry Cook" Poster
    I have been asking around for many years for the recipe for the Pasta House dish Rigatoni Roma. It seems like nobody has ever been able to copy it. If any of you know. please submit the recipe here. Thank you sooooo much. I crave it so often and it is over 120miles from where I live.

    Where was the restaurant located?

    Tellus as much about the dish as you can remember. Maybe we can help find a close duplicate recipe.

    From what I can see in the photo, it is rigatoni with peas and fresh mushrooms, in a pink (not red) sauce, with some melted mozzarella or cream sauce/bechamel sauce on top. Is that close?

    I guess I wasn't too far off.....I found the following at a different link:

    The menu description is: Rigatoni Roma 11.99 - Rigatoni in meat sauce with fresh mushrooms, peas, prosciutto, cream sauce

    The thing that makes restaurant pasta dishes difficult to duplicate, is the sauce. Without having tasted it, I couldn't begin to tell you how to duplicate it. icon_confused.gif

    Fettuccine Alla Parma (use your favorite meat sauce and sub riggies for the fettuccine)
