"Spaghetti sauce" is the 'generic' name for any (red) tomato based sauce that you would use on pasta. Some "spaghetti sauces" contain meat or meat flavorings (aka meat sauce), others are only tomato and herb/spice based (aka marinara sauce), still others contain veggies (mushrooms, grated carrots, etc.)

Often (in the USA) "spaghetti sauce" refers to a commercially prepared sauce in a jar (as opposed to a homemade sauce) found in the "Italian" section of most supermarkets. icon_smile.gif

You saved the recipe for Jo Mama's World Famous Spaghetti on March 12. You can take another look at that recipe, or just buy a jar of sauce (less work).
