Here's the finished product. Pork roast with pan gravy with a Merlot reduction, salad, creamed redskin potatoes and steamed Parmesan green beans. Sent the daughter home with dinner for tomorrow, and we'll enjoy this again tomorrow for dinner. It was goo-ooo-ooo-ood!

Joe, that is exactly the kind of food I could eat every day. And the chicken dish I could eat every other day too! Thanks for posting and making me drool this early in the morning, lol.

I have discovered that my old digital camera has lots of precise, complicated, customizable settings and I'm better off keeping the "auto" settings for now until I sort all this out. See what you started, Steve? icon_lol.gif

    Hello C-F!!!

Just to say we are off to Stellenbosch tomorrow for a 3-week holiday, and seeing the grand-kids (usually only over weekends due to pre-school school) after not being able to go in December due to my sudden near-death illness!! Not to worry, I am okay now (I hope!).

I'll check in tomorrow before we leave, but I might be absent for 24 hrs or so.

I wonder ... we all have been told, and that includes all of you, to never post our email addies here. But if I write it so spybots can't pick it up?? Let me try. It's z u r i at i s a t. co. za. Very simple.

Put that together and you have it. Just do not broadcast it! icon_wink.gif

Have a great time with the grandkids, Zurie. We cherish the time we get to spend with ours.

Dinner was Chicken Cacciatore over homemade linguine.
