I spent 5 hours dusting stuff, mopping, vacuuming, rearranging cupboards, laundry ,wiping down the fridge, cleaned the oven, and other assorted things that I hate to do.

Now I'm gonna have a stiff glass of Goose. I deserve it.

    This house is clean.

Yep.... this is the only time I do white glove cleaning.

I'm very tidy year round and my place is only a 15 minute cleaning spree ready for company but just once a year I pull the fridge away from the wall and mop under it.

Spring? Spring? What is this "Spring" that you speak of??? We are due for another blast of snow! I don't like to spring clean unless I can open the windows and air the place out too. At the rate this weather is going, it'll be July before I can Spring clean!! LOL

I truly envy you a 5 hour total spring clean!

We did it all in 2 days when we listed the house for sale and kept it show ready until last week when the conditions were removed. It was exhausting! We are in regular living mode now and will give it a thorough 'summer' clean just before we move. We will likely have to do a top to bottom clean on whatever we buy - By July 1st I will have done all the major cleaning to last me the rest of 2013.

I'm not a slob but I gave up on pristine 40 years ago with my first 2 big hairy dogs.

I hear that! No way and I doing a big clean unless I can steam clean the carpet-and that requires open windows and fans. There's 4 inches of snow out there with a lovely layer of ice. That will be followed by mud-lots and lots of mud.

Potsie, I'm glad you got yours done-it is a good feeling, isn't it?

I did the "self-cleaning" oven lastnight. I hate doing it because it stinks but it really needed it. Sure beats the spray on chemicals.

Oops. smacky, smacky, kiss, kiss. Why do I always get that confused?
You may have to sweep the cobwebs out of my brain too!
    Glad you're bringing a broom!

I laugh every time you get it confused! I know you try real hard to remember, but you only have about a 80/20 success rate. It just makes you even more endearing to me. icon_smile.gif

Clearly you don't say it often enough for it to stick in my brain. icon_rolleyes.gif icon_lol.gif
