    St. Patrick's Day Eggs

    Hi Everyone,

I was just playing around with breakfast ideas for St. Patrick's Day. This idea is out there on a number of blogs, and I decided to give it a try. Very easy, but so cute. The hardest part was finding a green bell pepper with a good shape.

It's just a 1/2" slice of pepper with one egg inside, fried in a frying pan. Then I sprinkled it with fresh ground pepper.

What an imaginative idea!! icon_lol.gif Great, Kathy! I'm going to try and do that either tomorrow or as soon as possible, as eggs are my favourite breakfast! icon_biggrin.gif

By the way ... have you seen, in magazines, etc ... that the old "fats are bad for you" thing is being turned on its head by new research. I am so pleased because I've believed all along that natural fats (eggs, meats with excess fat cut off, poultry skin, butter, etc. is NOT bad for us! icon_eek.gif )

Yes, I've seen the latest comments on fats! I was so happy when I heard a doctor on TV recently who said eggs are no longer evil. I'm not jumping back into a lard-filled cooking spree, but at least I won't feel so guilty when I have a little bit now and then.

Go right ahead! It's not my original idea -- I saw it on several food blogs.
