    sorry I am new to this cooking thing...what size pot is recommended for cooking this dish?

    Step 4 says a large pot. One large enough to hold the cooked rice (it will double in volume as well as the chicken, with some room to spare. A smallish Dutch oven, if you have one, or a large saucepan would work, as it's only 4 servings.
