May I ask what your DD does in Japan? Thats a long way from home for sure...

She's there for the TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) portion of her university program. She's coming home today icon_smile.gif.
The trip was only 2 weeks long and she spent most of it in a remote mountain school.
Last year she went to Germany because she's also in the German Studies program.

Is that a good program? Sounds like it. I was planning to study it.

She loves both programs. She's also taking linguistics. I'm sure the TESOL course will be worth it if you want to travel and teach English.
Part of the program has had her both observing an ESL class and teaching one under supervision.
