I delivered the apron to Mommy Diva's house tonight. She wasn't home I left it with her husband and explained the apron to him.

    Thank You.

Hello everyone. Just popping in to see how busy you've all been and that the apron is moving along. Pat, I know how challenging this is to organize, and I really can't thank you enough for all of you doing this for me.

My health update is that I go in for bi-annual testing next week - it is now officially 6 months since my last chemo and they will be checking.

I feel great and am sure that will be reflected in all my tests but it doesn't hurt to have a little positive energy and good friends behind you so, your positive thoughts would be much appreciated. I will post when I know the exact date of the testing and then repost when I know the results.

    I'll be back!

I'm glad I checked in here! Good to hear you're feeling well these days, Ev. icon_smile.gif
I'll still be thinking of you.

I'm not sure how many people participating in Global Apron 3 live in Maple Valley. But I'm in Maple Valley, and it hasn't arrived at my house yet. It seems I should have seen it by now. Did I get missed?

Couldn't get on this morning as I kept getting error messages and we left at 8.00am and only just got back and it is 6.15pm - NorthwestGal I have been trying to contact you by zmail 26th January and by email 7th February and again this morning by email to confirm your address so could you please zmail me your address to ensure that Mommy Diva gets the correct address and hopefully you should have the apron in a week or two.

Looks like we have hit a sticky patch as the apron was personally delivered to the last person on the 27the January (though she was not home and the DH took delivery) but after zmailing emailing I have had no response so have zmailed the person who dekivered the apron the present recipient in hope they may find out what is going on.

The person who hand delivered to the present recipient was very prompt in getting back to me and will contact the person who presently has the apron and hopefully things will get moving soon.

Hi all. Sorry for the *big* delay! The apron is indeed well and alive and I will be mailing it tomorrow.

I was not home when it was delivered, and ended up being in Montana for more than 7 weeks for work. I just got in and saw Lynn this evening. I had no idea your emails weren't getting to me, nor that the apron was coming to me again as I had signed it during the summer in Ontario Canada with the gals up there (I guess I had a miscommunication about it) .

Please accept my apologies for the delay and know I am off to post it tomorrow.

Good to know all is well sorry but I don't remember your name being on the Ontario list but then I could be wrong. Your email address that I had got pinged back to me a couple of days after I sent the email and well due to your work you haven't been on line to receive zmail but all is well now so that is the main thing. Could you please post the tracking number in the thread or zmail me it and I will post. Thanks for your participation.

Yippee!!! The apron arrived at my house today. It is so cool! I will sign it tomorrow (I'm too exhausted after a full day of PAC to do a decent job of it tonight). And, by early next week, I should have it off to whoever is next .

To whom will I be sending it?

Northwest Gal good to hear I will organise the next recipient tomorrow will zmail and email to confirm their address and then let you know and will do the next two recipients after that as in 2 weeks we go on holidays for a week or two and I may not have internet access as a couple of the places are out whoop whoop (no power, no amenities, we have a camper trailer, some solar power for lighting and fridges, gas camp stove and portable b-b-q and an outdoor cold shower).

Just zmailed and emailed the next 3 chefs to confirm addresses and to make sure they are ready to receive. Though can't find a chef for Boise Idaho in my data base or original hand written list so think it may have been a chef who changed addresses, unless I have erred so if you live in Boise Idaho please zmail me with your details and I will divert the apron to you along the line.

Have heard back from the first 2 but not the third in Moorhead Iowa so will try again today and if I have not heard by Tuesday my time will more onto the next one and hope they answer quickly as we leave on about 5.30am on Easter Friday and will be gone for about a week and half but will catch up when I get back if the apron has reached Port Angeles WA so I can let them know who is next.

Sounds like the Apron is getting closer to Missouri - so excited!! We're supposed to get a bunch of snow tomorrow (Sunday) so I have been planning my sewing/quilting projects around some fun cooking activities. Hope everyone is having a good start to the Spring season - though it hasn't quite reached Missouri yet!
