I went once, that was enough for me. I felt worse afterwards, but my Mom swears by hers. I think it all depends on the chiropractor. I wouldn't worry too much about the pain. My Mom is 73 and he helps her very much. Good luck, I hope you get some relief

My swap partner is such doll and we have been keeping in touch regularly.
Will be heading to my very first chiropractor visit in a couple hours and I am getting so nervous. Not sure what he will do or how bad the pain will be when he is done. Has anyone had pain after going for a treatment?
I had used one years & years ago, and I didn't like him (he was just strange and didn't seem to know what he was doing). Then I opted to go see a Naperapath (sp?), as they work the muscles and joints etc, and leave your bones alone. That went very well. Then the latest experience (a few years ago), I went to a local chiropractor and absolutely loved him. After just 1 visit, my pain lower back pain (that haunted me for years) was completely gone. I have had no problems since then.
So basically, I think it just goes by who the chiropractor is. Good luck, dear.

Oh my gosh I was in so much pain when I got home yesterday!! I think I had the physical therapist turn the machine up to high when I had the electrodes on and the moist heat. That felt so good and then had a neck and upper back massage....heaven! I fellt so good so we stopped for lunch but on the way out I had a muscle spasm so bad I couldnt stand up straight and my ear was laying on my left shoulder. The pain was horrible and I was almost in tears. My pain pills helped a bit and then DH found my muscle cream so he rubbed that on.
After going thru all that today I felt so much better! Feels like I was standing a lot straighter and my low back pain wasnt as pounding. Neck is a lot better to except for the spot that was zapped to hard, that is tender yet but maybe she can work on it tomorrow.
I really like this doctor so I am going to give it another try. Supposed to go Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for 2 weeks and then see where we are at.
Rosie and pammyowl thank you for sharing! HUGS!!!

BB502 also collects angels and if I cant find one of mine that I want to send her will order her one.
Has anyone found any neat St. Patrick's Day or Easter cookbooks? I swore Easter used to be the first Sunday in April.

I hope all turns out well for you! Healing thoughts flying your way
I haven't even been shopping yet, we have had such weird weather here in Minnesota lately! A foot and a half of snow , then pouring rain and now it is snowing again Never fear, I'll have my books sent off by the deadline though!

pammyowl thank you so much for the healing thoughts! I know what you mean about the strange weather. We have had about the same here in Indiana. Monday it was almost 50 degree's when we went to therapy and while we were waiting to go back it starting pouring rain. Late that night I let Breah out and it had snowed! I think the 20th is the first day of Spring and we will still be wearing winter coats.
Hi Rosie! You are doing a fine job keeping up with all the fun stuff to do in the forums. Before long you will be a pro just like all of us!
Morning Maya's Mama! We have another couple weeks for the swap so no worries hon. I am not all finished yet with BB502's package yet either.
Hope everyone is having a great Wednesday!!

I am glad I could help with half.com it is a great find for sure really the website is addictive if you have a weakness for cookbooks hahaha. I also have bought dvd's and have done great getting those also. Happy shopping. Also I dont know if you know this or not but if you buy from the same vendo most of them will cut the freight in half for the next book which is a great deal also .75cents plus 1.89 shipping great deal for a cookbook for sure.
