I regret even signing up due to the pain of trying to read the two words to even send an email to myself of a recipe. From now on I will print immediately or write it out by hand, and cancel my registration.

I myself have not had a problem with emailing - knock on wood - perhaps some of the suggestions in this thread will help you

Often I will just copy the URL and then send it through my email program to the recipient, since the addresses I send to are all in there. For myself I just save them to my cookbooks, that way I can always find the recipes I am interested in.

Cangiano, we hope you will take duonyte's advice and not cancel you registration.
We have requested the captcha feature be more readable. In the interim, there is an option there for you to get a new word. To the right of the box where you enter the words you see are three little icons. The top one is of two arrows making a circle. Click it to Get a New Challenge aka new words. The second is a picture of a megaphone to Get an Audio Challenge. And the circle with the question mark is for Help. Hope this helps.
Please be aware it's also hard to tell when the email has been sent because the page just refreshes kind of implying you need to submit again, but underneath the captcha in bold it will advise when it has been sent. This has also been reported to make more apparent. Hope that helps!
