    How do I toast sesame seeds?

    What is an easy way to toast sesame seeds?

    A small dry skillet on the stove top will work just fine. Shouldn't take but a very few minutes for them to toast, so watch them carefully.

    Yes, watch them very carefully and move them around a lot using a wooden spoon or spatula, over low heat.

    Once you begin to smell them and they are turning a light brown color, they are VERY close to being done.

    I also tip mine onto a paper towel and once they are cool roll them around on the towel by using another on top and it makes them less oily

    Good idea. You also need to get them out of the hot skillet fast, once they are browned, to allow to cool.
