Valentine Day dinner

I thought I'd be a nice guy and make Pasta Primavera with grilled chicken breast for Valentines Day dinner for DW & DD. I had it all going and on time, when DD text messaged me to say she would be 1 hour late, then 5 minutes later DW texted that she had to stay late at work, and to not wait for her for dinner... She was 2 hours late.

Pitiful as it was, I still took pics of the veggies before they were roasted and the meal on the table.

Oh Joe those veggies are so pretty waiting to go into the oven, very delicious looking dinner.

Joe, the photos are great and the veggies look divine, and you must have been frustrated by the delay!! I know the feeling, as DH never wants to eat early and I often eat before him. (It's because he snacks too much during the afternoon!)

Aww Joe,that must have been so frustrating after making such a great looking meal..(been in that position before)..But I think the vegies look wonderful,so many pretty colors!
