Hey guys, a couple of years ago I had found an awesome recipe for a soup on Recipezaar, it seems bought them out, anyway. It was for a Roasted red pepper soup, It did not contain tomato. I remember it being called something like a roasted red pepper and onion soup, unfortunately my search returns 3000+ results.

I remember simmering the roasted red pepper in balsamic vinegar. not sure if this helps.

Does anyone know of this recipe? I know this is a long shot

Forum Host is just the latest name of the site formerly known as Recipezaar. It has had different names over the years.

I found this that has just a little tomato paste and you could probably omit, Roasted Red Pepper Soup (Weight Watcher Core Friendly!)
I used the sifter to find the 3K+ recipes you mentioned, then used filter by ingredient to find the ones that included balsamic vinegar, and again to exclude tomatoes.

This is what the search came down to

Perhaps you will find the one you are thinking of. If you do, remember to save it to your cookbook, that way it will always be handy for you.

I don't think that is the one, Leslie. The original poster said it did not contain tomatoes. icon_confused.gif
