Good luck studentchef bet it will be awesome....
Student chef... you can enter 3 here... "Go for all of them"!
I already entered two, which is why I'm debating between the last two. I don't what people would like, here, something with ketchup or something with ketchup! It's one of those debates, you know!
I'd go with the "ketchup" recipe!!! LOL . Good luck!

I'm still keen to do this, for the purpose of the contest, is tomato sauce going to be acceptable?
 Hi Satyne
I bought Heinz ketchup to try out in my recipes ....though I don't think our regular tomato sauces are that much different ............... and no matter what is written on the pack..........ketchup or sauce...... it's all called tomato sauce in our home!

Personally I'd use the sauce if that was what I had.........but best write ketchup in your recipe as it is the required ingredient .

The must use ingredient is ketchup so that's what must appear in the ingredient list of the recipes.

Hi Jubes: I see you're on thhis contest also. I was the 2nd to post on RSC (right after you). I re-read, from page 1, all the posts on that sight. Sorry you weren't eligible to enter. Can you enter this one with ketchup? Hey, I was gonna say, depending where you live, I could mail you a flat HVR dressing package! At least then you could taste it & "pretend" to play along with us. LOL.
Have a great day!

 Hi rosie
I was disappointed to see yet another competition that I can't participate in............. I never play to win...........just to have fun and meet others here. Thankyou for your generous offer, but ....I'm still excluded by not living in the US. If you ever need an Aussie ingredient - you have an Aussie friend now
I always love playing these games and so very happy that we do have ketchup here and I can join the fun in dining on a dollar. I've submitted two recipes now and can't wait to see the others at reveal time

OMG Julie... where about in Aussie-land? My dream (for the past 30+ years) to go there and do an entire month circling the country, then test out New Zealand too!!! Lucky you to live, in what I believe, is the perfect place (from all my studies on Aussie). Dying to see Red Rock & the outback land... and The Great Barrier Reef!!!
Good luck in this contest!!!

 Hi rosie
I'm in NSW in Newcastle....it's about 2 - 2 1/2 hours drive from Sydney or 3 hours on the train. It's a coastal town and we have lots of beautiful beaches and you can also drive for a day-trip to the Hunter vineyards.
Ayers rock is becoming more widely known now by the Aboriginal name of Uluru. I haven't been to see 'the rock' yet......but a workmate has just returned and she absolutley loved it.
I haven't ever travelled overseas.......planning on seeing more of Australia first. I think that us Aussies take a lot of what we have here for granted.
Flights to NZ are fairly cheap from here as are flights to Bali. Loads of tourists both Aussies and others travel roundtrips of the country. You might like to take a look at JustJanS blog where she covers her roadtrips round Aus http://janandrussroundozagain-janandruss.blogspot.com.au/2011/04/on-road-again.html

Julie, Thanks... I'll check out her site. Now, as for this ketchup contest, you can't enter, correct? But you have "access" to ketchup, right? Then play along by trying some of the dishes listed when they reveal them. You could still rate them I would imagine.
