Do I use one can each of beef, veg and chicken or all the same?

I suspect the intent was to say that you can use chicken or beef or veggie broth, but there is no reason why you could not mix them up. I don't buy beef broth very often, but when I do, I almost always mix it with chicken broth to lighten up the commercial broth.
