Technically, a shepherd's pie is made with lamb or mutton, a cottage pie is made with beef, so I guess a pork version might be called a swineherd's pie? icon_lol.gif
You could certainly substitute the pork for beef or lamb in any meat pie recipe, but you might want to use some slightly different herbs or other flavorings. Sage, for instance, might be a great addition.

Technically, any pie topped with mashed potato is a cottage pie; shepherd's pie is a specific type of cottage pie. The name comes from the fact that potatoes were considered food for poor people, hence only cottagers who couldn't afford anything else would eat a potato-topped pie. But current usage has expanded to include any type of filling under the name "shepherd's pie." That's the way the language goes.
