I have so many tomatoes now. This is one of the old, old recipes dating to the start of Zaar (may she rest in peace!)

Really simple, just up my lazy alley. It's Parmesan Stuffed Tomatoes by Dancer^.

What I did not have at hand was the parsley which should be in the filling.

Those look PERFECT!!! The tomato is perfectly round. You have it stuffed perfectly! Great job. Now, what I'm about to say is a little weird. I have always thought of a stuffed tomato - either cold with chicken salad or cottage cheese, or baked as these are - as sexy. I don't know why. And I don't mean sexual, just sexy. Weird, I know. And you know what, I don't like cold tomatoes. I only like them on a sandwich - with other things, or on like tacos. But to eat a slice of tomato - forget it. yuck.gif I've tried, and tried, and tried to like these beauties, but I can't. I LOVE them cooked though. Just adds to the peculiarness (if that's a word), that is me. icon_biggrin.gif And I'm OK with that. icon_biggrin.gif

rotfl.gif NO, dear Becky, you did not kill the thread!! icon_lol.gif

It's simply quiet in here, as it is in many forums!

So, you do not like cold/fresh tomatoes! That is quite funny-peculiar! Oh Becky, I have lots of summer tomatoes right now (being in the Southern hemisphere). Nothing is more summery and delicious than a plate of sliced tomatoes, with sweet onions and chopped fresh basil! icon_wink.gif

But we are all allowed our peculiarities. For example, I hate and detest rhubarb, in any form!! I also dislike mango with a passion!

Sooo ... no-one's peculiar! Each of us have our own dislikes! icon_wink.gif icon_lol.gif

I WANT to like them, just can't. icon_sad.gif I've tried. DH can eat the cherry or grape tomatoes like he was eating chips. I agree about a plate of tomatoes as you have described being summery! I think they are a beautiful fruit!

I had thought my comment about stuffed tomatoes being sexy was what weirded people out to comment. icon_lol.gif
