Thanks I was pleased. DH came home for lunch and said he wanted a sandwich made of it - I said "OPPS, already gave it to the neighbors to try and the LOVED it But with all the baking I've been doing trying to get this baking in this climate down - really did think it'd be to much so gave it away. Now guess I just have to make more

It slices nice for sandwiches too, this is Bob's Off Friday so busy taking care of him and plans for dinner out tonight so not much planned in the kitchen. But I'm thinking next week I might give that "round" braid a try, it looks pretty cool but not sure how it'll be as to slicing. Any ideas on a good recipe for "round" bread??

I made the Japanese Tangzhong Bread on Monday and it really is amazing! Today is day 4 and it is still just as soft and fluffy as when I made it. I am really liking this bread a lot. You all should give it a try if you like soft breads. I did take several pictures of the process but I don't have them on my computer yet. Pictures are a complicated process for me because my computer got messed up by a virus. I have to have my son burn them to a disc and then I can retrieve them from the disc.

After reading that site and seeing the blog, it looks like so much fun and different from other breads, I'm going to try it this week and see how it comes out. Donna, LOVE how you find these great ideas for breads that are just a little different

Awesome! Joe, tell me how you seed the tops of the loaf bread. Egg wash and sprinkle or roll the loaf in seeds before panning?
