Ohhhhhh baby, baby, baby. You sure know how to tempt an old man with comfort food. DW HATES lima beans (I love them), so I only get them when we go out. Tis the season for comfort foods. Fine business, young lady.

Now that is Sunday Dinner the way it was meant to be!!!

The first photo looks as inviting as a warm robe right out of the drier or a grandmas warm loving arms.

Oh, that beef looks fantastic!! And I adore lima beans (they have another name here).

The combo of colours are just perfect -- I love #1 and #4, for the extra light on the yellow plate. What an inviting meal!!! icon_biggrin.gif

    Hi Everyone, wave.gif
    Joe,
I too am crazy about limas and the roast wasn't
    too bad either. icon_biggrin.gif
Joe, anytime that you and your DW are in my neck of the
woods, feel free to stop by and I'll serve you limas
and your DW any veggie she likes. icon_lol.gif
    Deb,
I never thought of comfort food in quite that
way before, but you know your right. icon_lol.gif
    Zurie,
The roast was very fork tender. And I couldn't
quite figure out which photo to use,so thanks
for giving me a couple of ideas. icon_biggrin.gif
    Steve,
There's nothing like a thick slice of beef, gravy,
and mash to stick to a person's ribs. The limas
    weren't bad either. icon_lol.gif

    Hi mickey, wave.gif
It was a boneless roast, and when
I tried to take it out of the crock pot
    it just fell apart. icon_lol.gif
