Ok Steve what happened to my lunch? Looks really yummy!
Hay no harm in the chef getting a night off now and then; tell you DW she did a nice job.

I think the skill was in the cooking and my lights.. I claim no part of it
another few meals
Stewed steak
for breakfast, not much in, 2 small ends of different cheese, 1 rasher of bacon, piece of black pudding... so thought how can I do something... made a checker board with the cheese and put "pieces" on it with blackpudding and some emergency chorizo.. then had to use cream cheese for the last one and used the bacon up...
last night I made pizza
and this morning a BLT
and another little tip here, look at the same shot from directly above, can you see how I've had to drag the round bap to the front edge of the round plate to make it look right when you take the shot from the side. If you don't you got too much plate sticking out towards you at the front of the sandwich, makes it look like you haven't put in the middle !

Steve cannot believe you got a clear shot with steam as normally steam makes it blur. You Rock!!
Your breakfast at first glance reminded me of a game board and the pizza of a puzzle guess I am channeling my inter child today
Must say the side shot of the B-sandwich is much taster as I can see all the yummiest.

thanks,
steam and my camera... the camera is pretty good at looking at the photo you are taking and realising what you want it to focus on... its also likely I blew the steam away to focus then let it start to rise as I took the photo
yeah the toast was meant to be a sort of game board...
and the BLT was mighty fine

Great photos, Steve!! You and family really eat well!
I agree with Deb -- steam has been an issue every time I tried to take a "freshly cooked" photo! It's often steamed up the camera lens, so I had to wait for the food to cool down. That is another problem, however: some foods reheat well, others do not!
Great looking food!

I hold the camera far enough away and zoom to stop the steamy lens

The Colonel and Poppy are both in big trouble if you ever bring that chicken to this side of the pond as it looks nicer than the blush of a sweet Georgia peach.

Steve the grandkids must have love coming to your house!
Have seen folks cook an egg in the center of bread but to use homemade bread and cook it with the egg, bacon and egg on like one large edible platter is
