I rec'd the apron yesterday. I will get my part done by the end of the weekend. Have you checked with Mommy Diva? I don't know her address or telephone# but I will deliver it to her if you tell me where she lives.

Hello everyone. Just popping in to see how busy you've all been and that the apron is moving along. Pat, I know how challenging this is to organize, and I really can't thank you enough for all of you doing this for me.
My health update is that I go in for bi-annual testing next week - it is now officially 6 months since my last chemo and they will be checking.
I feel great and am sure that will be reflected in all my tests but it doesn't hurt to have a little positive energy and good friends behind you so, your positive thoughts would be much appreciated. I will post when I know the exact date of the testing and then repost when I know the results.
I'll be back!

Rita, I wish I could. The depression in Greece (calling it a recession at this point would be comic) is unrelenting and, between my husband and I, we are working for just under half what we were 3 years ago. We are getting by and grateful to both be working as it could be so much worse...
But I don't think I'll ever be in a position to travel again.

Oh I think I have just done a major blunder I zmailed the next recipient on the 18th Jan. but hadn't heard so just sent an email and then just after sending the email thought I would check her My Page to see if there was recent activity only to find she has passed away so fired off another email of apology and asked the DH if he would like to sign in her memory so that is were it stand at the moment - all will depend if he checks her old email address, if I don't hear anything in the next few days will more onto the next person - feeling really terrible about this so adding to my list to check My Pages of chefs I not familiar with or don't seem to have been active of late.

Oh dear, that's a tough one. I can imagine how you feel, but Pat, please know how much all you do is appreciated!
Evelyn, it is wonderful to hear you are doing well health-wise, add my positive energy to the mixture of other Zaar chefs. If the apron is in Oregon it's getting very close to me here in Washington and I'm looking forward to it!

I delivered the apron to Mommy Diva's house tonight. She wasn't home I left it with her husband and explained the apron to him.
