Sometimes when we don't feel like a full meal, I will do a snacky type of thing. Usually some soup - I'll whip up something fast that does not require a lot of work - and then I will often toast some English muffins and top them with ham and cheese or chicken/tuna salad with cheese on top and just zap in the microwave to melt the cheese a bit. When Mr Grumpy has no appetite, little bites like this sometimes will tempt him into eating something.

I'll also make quesadillas with whatever is available in the fridge. Those usually are appealing.

A few times I've done a little plate with some "chicken" tenders (quorn triangles - I found them at Costco and they are pretty tasty) and meatballs and serve them with a little sauce for dipping. Add some veggies to the plate, or if Mr Grumpy is lucky, some French fries. I keep the sweet potato fries in the freezer at all times. I like to use Japanese East Meets West Vinaigrette ...aka Secret - it's delicious. If I don't have that, then I'll just mix up some mayo and sour cream or kefir with some sriracha or Thai sweet chili sauce, or fresh herbs.
