    Sour Cream Apricot Scones

Can I substitute fresh apricots for dried in this recipe?

A- Its possible the fresh apricots might turn to mush when kneading the dough.
B- They may make the dough too wet (releasing their juice while baking) to make a "proper scone".

I could also be wrong on both counts, I have never tried using fresh apricots in scones. icon_confused.gif

Okay, maybe I will knead the dough then just roll in the apricots at the end...

    Thank you!
