    Picky-eater husband. HELP!

I have a super picky husband. He is Indian so he grew up on rice and curry. Its safe to say he rarely ever eats Indian unless his parents are in town. He hates whole pieces of meat (wont eat steak or pork chops) because of a childhood incident. I have been doing my best to make things we all can eat, instead of two or three separate dishes for dinner, but I'm having a super hard time with it.

He doesn't want to eat meat, pasta or rice dishes for every meal.

I grew up eating a 'slab of meat' (as my hubby says) with two veggie sides, bread, and salad almost every meal. I eat almost anything besides cooked spinach and ground goat. icon_wink.gif

So I thought maybe you guys could help me out. Any advice would be super helpful.

What else is there besides slabs of meat, pasta, rice or veggie sides?

    Thank you all!!!

It's not clear if he doesn't eat Indian frequently because he doesn't like it or if it's because he doesn't get it unless his folks are in town. I can recommend these very highly rated, tried-and-true recipes:
    Chicken, Rice, and Spices Bake
    Bourbon Chicken
    Creamy Cajun Chicken Pasta
    Channa Masala
    Jo Mama's World Famous Spaghetti
Easy Crescent Samosa (Indian Style Sandwiches)
    Kittencal's Italian Melt-In-Your-Mouth Meatballs
    Oven-Fried Chicken Chimichangas
    Delicious Chicken Pot Pie
Fannie Farmer's Classic Baked Macaroni and Cheese
    Indian Lamb Curry
The Best Chili You Will Ever Taste
    Crock Pot Chicken Vindaloo
    Simply Sour Cream Chicken Enchiladas
Pasta with Sausage, Tomatoes, and Cream
    Chicken Tikka Masala
    4 Minute Spicy Garlic Shrimp
    Oven Fried Eggplant (Aubergine)
    Mahogany Beef Stew
    Beef Keema
    Tortellini Tomato Spinach Soup
    Chicken Curry in a Hurry

You'll want to read the reviews to see what worked and what didn't for folks. If you give any of them a try, recipe reviews are very much appreciated. icon_smile.gif

Thanks! I will definitely try these! I've actually already done the Bourbon Chicken one and he really enjoys that one.
