I'd like to quit a few nasty habits, one of them would be eating. I do need to lose Christmas pounds and then some!
This spring I'd like to re-do my garden and plant more in it.
I need to paint the inside of the entire house, although I'm not sure it will get entirely done.
Clean out the basement. I promise myself every year I'm going to do it and it's been over 5 years now! Actually, I did get rid of 4 big items today! 2 of them were big (old) aquariums.
You're having a New Years Eve party, name a few things you'd serve besides alcohol.

When it's just mom and I, we play crossword puzzles or rummage through kindle books to buy.
With family and guests, we usually play games. We very seldom play with the boards that come with them lol like trivia or Songburst ect. Sometimes we play charades but a couple years ago we found a game everyone will actually sit and play called Hedbanz
Please list any number of soups that you love (recipes welcome )

We love soups at my house so I have lots of them! Most of them are healthy or can be with some changes. Good for the after Christmas lbs to loose! Most of my soups I just make up as I go along. I love Uncle Bill's minestrone Uncle Bill's Vegetarian Minestrone Soup hearty and healthy!
I have a pretty good list of soups under my reviews just type in soups under the search bar on my page. Of course I don't eat meats, but you can obviously add meats to any of the soups. The advantage to looking at the reviews is you will be different peoples changes, suggestions, additions and photos!!
Nite!

I find in this high-tech age-fast-pace life we live now we have left behind some simple traditions I wish were still common like high school dances in the gym or Levi jeans and letter writing. What do you miss?

Not sure what kind of movies you like, but I know one we both like, so I'll start there! (In no particular order)
Les Miserables
Lincoln (long and sort of slow, but I liked it because I like movies that are true or based in truth)
Hunger Games (Better than I expected it to be and if your daughter didn't see it she might like it also)
Silver Linings Playbook - Loved it!
Flight - if you like Denzel
Hobbit - if you are a fan of the trilogy
Mirror Mirror - A fun remake of Snow White with Julia Roberts, fabulous costumes and I adore the dwarves!
Iron Lady - with Meryl Streep and she was extraordinary in it! Love it!
For the younger Crowd - Madagascar 3 and The Lorax
The Odd Life of Timothy Green - an odd movie, but I did like it
Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close - A strange, yet oddly intriguing movie. Hard to say if you would or wouldn't like it
Joyful Noise - a simple story with some good music
Step Up Revolution - A good one for your daughter if y'all like dancing
Now that I go back and read my list, it's a very odd group of movies and I have no idea why certain ones popped in my head!?
Could you please list any number of movies, old or new that you liked?
