I read through most of this...but not all sooo I don't know if anyone has mentioned this. When I lived in California I was going through serious chili withdrawals. I found out that alot of the chili farms will ship them to you. Roasted, overnight and still warm when you get them! Yippeeee! I was in hog heaven and the star of the potlucks! Check it out if your locality hasn't yet evolved.

I'm back home thank goodness...but they were a life saver.

Hi folks. I just read my inbox which had an invitation from back in February icon_lol.gif . I had never noticed my inbox before icon_lol.gif So anyway, here I am.

We just recently moved from New Mexico to Idaho but of course, need to have our chiles. My husband lived there for nearly 30 years, and I was there for 16. We lived in Las Cruces.

I will have to read through the forum to see what people have already added, but just last week I made posole. It was delicious.

Click on Sopaipillas for a very highly rated recipe. If you give it a try, recipe reviews are very much appreciated.

There are also a couple of stuffed sopaipillas recipes in the db, if you want to get crazy! icon_smile.gif
