Oh would so love to see someone like Zurie win a Photoshop.

Ok am going to drive you nuts with this because for eating purposes I like the house lights but for pop, liveliness overall quality I like the studio light. If selling or entering a contest I would say studio lights hands down.

the Photoshop giveaway isn't a competion, its available for ANYONE who wants to DOWNLOAD IT !

yeah I find the studio lights tend to make the photo pop more, they make it more like magazine pictures or café menus... the other gives a more as you were there look..

Steve, that link is definitely allowed in here!! Can it be true? We won't care if it's an older version -- it would still be much more versatile than the little free program I have!

    Thanks for posting that -- I'm going to have a look! icon_biggrin.gif icon_biggrin.gif icon_biggrin.gif

PS: Steve and Deb: .... aaaand ... I need studio lights!!

Wonder where I can source it -- maybe only when I can get to the Western Cape. I could phone the one camera shop I know in Port Elizabeth, but ... I doubt they'll have it.

    ATT. STEVE!

I had a close look at that website, and I can't find a thing about free downloads!! icon_sad.gif

There's a try-out version (not worth it as I do not feel I can afford to buy it anyway). There's also something about paying about $50 a month -- far too much if converted to ZAR ... icon_sad.gif

Zurie the page I posted the link to has the files there for download with the serial numbers (the 50 dollar thing is an advert for something else to do with "the cloud").

You right click on the file names "CreativeSuiteCS2Disk1.exe" and save them to a folder (download all of them in the section ie the PDF file, all the Disk 2, Disk3 etc..) (if you are using a windows machine)

As for studio lights, can you get deliveries from Amazon ? Thats where I ordered mine (for £30 Sterling) (the replacement LED daylight bulbs were also from Amazon at just over £12 for 2)

That's a great little package for anyone who doesn't have a good photoshop already. It is an older version- but one with great features for photos and banner making. It was an expensive package when new.

this mornings breakfast.... the first few shots with day light... the other playing about moving the lights around, some more direct, some more scattered over... its hard to decide which photos work best now... I think the normal daylight work better... ?
