And a contortionist! Wow..... he IS a big boy! I was sure he was older because he was so big.... oh boy.....you would need some prayers but since you are such an angel... the pet angels should be helping you out....OK, OK prayers for you and Mr. Tuna on the way. You may very well find that once he gets used to being indoors he may not want to go out as much.[/quote]
Our Minerva had always been an indoor-outdoor kitty until we got the dog. THEN I was afraid she'd run away and never come back - I could see her packing a little kitty hobo bag and trudging down the road saying "someday they';ll be sorry. .. "
So anyway, I made an executive decision to keep her inside. She actually adjusted fairly quickly - she was about 6 years old at the time.
She sneaks out every now and then in the summer (turns out we had a loose screen and she was squeezing out that way for a little while) but she never goes any farther than the back yard - she usually scoots under the deck for a while before she's ready to come back in. Just getting a little fresh (dog-free) air, I guess.
There's no place like home. . .
