Hey everyone, how are you all doing in this awful heatwave - Peter you being in Tassie it must be dreadful - thinking of you all! its going to be 40c here tomorrow, well thats what they say but we are usually about 5c above that as we are a bit in land,

Typical Tasmanian weather, after the record 42C on Friday down to 9-16 and windy / showers forecast tomorrow. Anyway hopefully should bring a bit further relief for the firefighters tomorrow. I managed to keep myself pretty well hydrated .

Apart from of course those that lost their homes in the bushfires the other ones I felt sorry for were our pets, you could tell they were pooped out by the heat. With Maxine and myself taking good care of the cats / birds / dog with plenty of water to drink and a spray we didn't even think of the goldfish, the tank ended up so warm one succumbed to it.
