Merry Christmas, Happy New Year! Where are you this Christmas, Peggy? As for Osechi -- I have enjoyed those new year's dishes at my friends' home over the years, especially the soups!

Hope this is a great new year for everyone!

    Hi Stella Mae wave.gif
Seems odd to be posting in the Asian Forum to say that I am in the
Pantanal wetlands in Brazil for Christmas this year. Hot and steamy here.

Made two so far. Black beans and little anchovies - these will keep for a while. Next up will be eggs, and shrimp. I'll post some photos when I get them together. Snake year coming!
