    Drunken Cherries Aka Cherry Bomb
how do you store drunken cherries? do they need to be refrigerated?

I am very cautious about food safety, but I think these would be just fine on a pantry shelf. Maraschinos are loaded with sugar, plus the alcohol will preserve them. If you have room, keep them in the fridge to be sure.

I would probably refrigerate these just because they'd taste better to me cold (particularly in a drink).

They don't need to be refrigerated, unless you prefer them cold. Every year for Christmas I get a bottle of "Italian cherries" (which are actually fresh cherries soaked in brandy). They keep just fine in the liquor cabinet (unrefrigerated), I think that they have more flavor at room temp. Refrigerating them is a matter of personal preference.
