That will depend on what we are having for dinner - daughter is cooking, so I don't know what the menu is yet.
If we do an Italian Christmas ("Christmas Lasagne"), we will have
Italian (Ricotta) Cheesecake, and
Cannoli Shells, Cannoli Filling (#1 and # 2), assorted fresh fruits and roasted chestnuts.
If we have something else (a roast or a ham) for Christmas dinner, we will have pumpkin pie, English Christmas (plum?) pudding with brandy sauce, and perhaps an apple pie too. Personally, I would love a slice of mince pie, but no one else in the family likes it, so I'm not going to bother making one.
Regardless of what we have for dessert, there is always
Panettone di Milano,
Struffoli/Pignolata (aka Honey Balls), and a tray of assorted shortbread cookies (
Swirled Shortbread,
Lennie's Special Shortbread,
Raspberry Filled Almond Shortbread with Almond Glaze,
Lemon Shortbread Cookies) for nibbling on
