Hi Pat...No problems, hope you feeling better soon.
I am leaving the update just at the moment, because things seem a little strange on page 1. So will come back to it later and see how I go.

Good luck Tisme. I will try to be better at more current feedback. I've been so busy at work that I've let my private life slide. Terrible, I know! Working on balance for the new year. My staff is on notice, anyway, and I'm so grateful for such a great staff!

Thanks for the well wishes, it is a problem I have been dealing with since I was 12 years old when I fell on my tail playing basketball on a concrete court and cracked my spine and consequently I have arthritis in hips and spine and sometimes it gets very painful but I hate taking painkillers unless I absolutely have to and since I will be 57 next months I have learnt how best to deail with the problem and what my limitation are.

Thanks mersaydees, I think it was o.k. last night, but I could not get on to update. Now everything has changed on page 1.... I think we might just continue, and I will work on it tomorrow, as I am not home this afternoon or tonight.
So we just will continue and see what happens and I will fix it all tomorrow. I have started some, but if anyone notices something they have made appearing still .... let me know and I will fix tomorrow .....

You're cool, Pat!
Can't hurt to try two ginger capsules every morning. I do this myself to stave off arthritis.

Thanks I will give it a try as I can't take any of the medication for arthritis as they interfere with my diabetic medications too much.

Ginger capsules can't hurt you -- they can only help. And of course the fresh variety! Go ginger!

There are 3 things we go through a lot of - fresh garlic, ginger and chillies, I quite often steep ginger in hot water and have it as a drink, couldn't get ginger capsules today but hopefully tomorrow when I can get to a health food shop. Thanks again.

You put fresh ginger in capsules? I buy the powdered ginger and pack my own capsules bought at the co-op.

Was it a Violet Crumble Acadia? ...... I love them and the crunchies also!

Unfortunately, I too know what you are going through. Back in 1981 I was thrown off the back of the horse I was riding. I remember seeing my feet up in the air for a split second, and then whack I hit the ground! I was convinced I broke my hip, but instead broke off two vertebrae tips. I am going to be 56 in February. In the past I had spinal cavatiy injections with steriods. But the last time I had it done was about 3 years ago. I have been using Lidocaine patches. Lately in the USA there have been all of these deaths and major infections in peeps that had those injections from a drug manufacturer whose injection medicine has been tainted with fungus.
Get well soon Pat!

Ouch big time - a few years ago the GP sent me to a pain specialist who wanted to do injections but first I insisted on an allergy test to make sure there was not going to be a re-action (don't ask me why I insisted but I just did) and so glad I did for I had a re-action and the specialist admited if he had given it to me there could have been major consequences which is why I am extremely cautious about cortisone creams too, always do a very small test patch before using as I have had bad reactions to some of them, depends of the strength I think.
