    Beaten Biscuits

    We have been trying to make beaten biscuits all weekend. Every recipe bakes up doughy inside, rather than the flakey way my mother in law's turned out. We have tried her recipe as well. Help.

    Which method are you using? The recipe shows three methods, perhaps one of the other ways would work better. If you are doing the original beating method, my understanding is that you really have to beat the heck out of it - I've not made these myself, mind.
