Good morning to all. House is decorated and most of Christmas shopping is done. Just some present wrapping and cooking to do. Love this time of year.

    Here is the plan Mon-Fri:
Monday: Basketball game night--Pineapple-Turkey Sandwich, chips and dill pickle spears

Tuesday: pm swim meet--Ann Lander's Meatloaf, steamed broccoli, baked sweet potato and salad

Wednesday: Slow-Simmered Spaghetti Sauce over spaghetti, roasted asparagus, salad, and Harvest Pumpkin Cheesecake

Thursday: after school swim meet--Chili Blanco, salad, and cornbread

Friday: Eat Out; having friends over for Christmas Movie night--Eggnog Martini

Work Lunches: Golden Onion Soup w/ cheese toasts and Shrimp and Potato Salad

    Breakfast: Eggnog Bread

Snacks: Oatmeal Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies
Pineapple-Turkey Sandwich sounds intriguing! I might have to try it.

    Hi,

We ended up with one dinner's worth of Thanksgiving leftovers so I had a menu night to spare from last week. Leftovers are so nice!

Sat – little time to cook; leftovers from Friday (Pumpkin Posole)
Sun – having 6 friends over whom we haven't seen in a while: Chicken Marbella (very easy and prep is ahead of time) w/egg noodles and broccoli; others bringing salad, wine, dessert
Mon – black bean quesadillas (made up, with onion and green pepper and maybe spinach)
Tue – Stir fried Garlic Beef with Broccoli with brown rice
Wed – Red Pepper Risotto starting w/leftover rice; with salmon and broccoli
Thu – Chicken Paillards With Artichokes & Dijon Sauce with Brussels sprouts and over millet
Fri – going to UVA glee club Christmas concert; made up white bean soup with a small amount of smoky meat and greens, with bread

    Have a great week! --M
