to change your profile, click My Settings. The screen that opens is your profile page content. Make the changes you want, then scroll down to the bottom of the screen and click the Save Changes tab.

I am having problems changing my profile as well - it won't let me edit the contents on the about me section. Do i need to do anything special?? I have tried several ways to edit without success - won't even let me put the curson on the about me section TO make changes icon_sad.gif

If you are getting to the screen on which you would make the changes, but cannot, then please let Mary know the browser and the OS you are using, and what happens when you try to make the changes - for example, cursor will not enter the field.

If you have another browser on your computer, try using that one to see if you can make changes. I have four browsers on my laptop, and sometimes switching to another one helps pinpoint what the problem is, or whether it's general or limited.

The browser was absolutely right - thank you - all changed and good to go.

I am trying to load my photo to the profile page and it won't take. It says something like "processing" but it doesn't show up or let you save it.
I was on Firefox then switched to Google but still no luck after changing browser. I have windows 7. Thanks!

Have you tried re-installing Adobe Flash Player and Java? That may actually do the trick!

Hi Mary! I have done both, it still doesn't work. The icon "processing" just keeps spinning and spinning.

The photo is an acceptable size. I never have trouble adding photos to a recipe (last time I did that was in November). I don't know what is wrong but I notice someone else has posted that they are having trouble too.
Maybe it is a computer gremlin?

mums the word, you know I have to ask but did you delete your cookies and cache and shut your computer down? If so, are you still having problems? What browser and version are you using?

Hi Mary, as I mentioned above I am using Windows 7 and have tried to load the photo on both Firefox and Google and it doesn't work. Cookies and cache are clean too.

Here I finally get up the guts to post a photo of myself and can't do it for the life of me. Maybe no one is meant to see what I look like and I am to be an eternal mystery! Or maybe I am just being dramatic.

Thanks for your anticipated advice! ( As I said before, I don't have trouble posting photos to recipes so I do know what I am doing - most days!) icon_wink.gif

Are you referring to Firefox and Google "Chrome"? If so, I will need to know what versions of both of them you are using.

Thanks Mary. Firefox Mozilla is version 17.0.1
    Google Chrome is 1.3.21.123
    Does that help you?

I tried changing my profile and also had a problem. It let me type the new profile, but when I made a typo and wanted to correct it, I had to delete the whole thing and start over again. It would not let me click on the typo itself. I had this problem twice and finally gave up.
