    hey people!

    i have heard of lobster lasagna before but i need an exact and preferably the best one out there. any suggestions??

    You could substitute lobster for the crab meat in Crabmeat Lasagna ~ I have not made it, and have no idea if it's the best!

    Dib's had a bad rating for this one, but it hasn't been reviewed since she fixed the directions. I think the bad rating might have scared people away. I think it looks pretty good (and rich). If you make it and like it, be sure to write a review! Lobster and Asparagus Lasagna

    No reason you couldn't sub an extra 3/4 pound of lobster and omit the crab meat.

    Fresh Crabmeat and Lobster Lasagna - Emeril Lagasse, 1998

    Total Time: 1 hr 20 min

    Prep 35 min

    Cook 45 min

    Yield: 8 serving

    6 tablespoons butter
    6 tablespoons flour
    4 cups milk
    Freshly ground white pepper
    Pinch of nutmeg
    1/2 pound fresh spinach, cleaned, stemmed and chiffonade
    8 ounces grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese
    2 cups ricotta cheese
    1 egg
    2 teaspoons chopped garlic
    8 ounces grated Mozzarella cheese
    3/4 pound lump crab meat, picked over for cartilage
    1 1/2 pound lobster, cooked, meat removed and diced
    1/2 pound fresh pasta sheets

    Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

    In a medium saucepan, over medium heat, melt the butter. Stir in the flour and cook for 2 minutes. Whisk in the milk, 1/2 cup at a time. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Cook, stirring constantly for 4 to 6 minutes. Remove from the heat and stir in the spinach and 1/2 cup of the Parmesan cheese. (makes 5 cups sauce) Set aside.

    In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, egg, garlic and Mozzarella cheese. Season with salt and pepper. Mix well. Set aside.

    Grease a 8 by 8 by 2-inch square pan. To assemble, spread 1 cup of the sauce over the bottom of the pan. Season the crab meat and lobster with salt and pepper. Sprinkle 1/4 of the crab meat and lobster over the sauce. Sprinkle some of the remaining Parmesan cheese over the crab meat. Cover the cheese with the fresh pasta. Spread 1/4 of the cheese filling evenly over the pasta. Repeat the layering until all of the ingredients are used. Top the lasagna with the remaining cup of the sauce. Place in the oven and bake until bubbly and golden, about 45 minutes. Remove from the oven and cool for 10 minutes before serving.

    (made with cooked and cubed lobster meat, no-boil lasagna noodles and Alfredo pasta sauce )

    I agree. Crab is easier to cook than lobster in my experience. However, I found this recipe and it uses asparagus like Dib's recipe.

    thank you so much people! i'm a big fan of lasagna too so if you have other amazing lasagna recipes, not just lobster lasagna recipes, share them! i wanna try all lol

    I will say one thing; lobster lasagna is extremely RICH. I have had it once; and the recipe listed in the beginning of the post is pretty close to what I had.
