I put on a lunchtime bread making class for some ladies at work. We made dough and refrigerated it and I had brought dough to shape and bake when they got home.
It was a lot of fun. Two ladies brought muffin pans, two brought "huge" bread pans (5" x 10"). They didn't know a gram from an ounce and I heard comments like
"My dough looks like soup", and
"No, Emily, it's 8 ounces of water, not 8 grams."
"Look at that huge pile of salt. That's not right ! Wait, you're not throwing that all away are you?"
They want to do more classes.......I'm thinking about it.

I did a no-knead bread class once for ladies at my church. It was a bit complicated since I had to have multiple batches of the dough ready at the different stages to show them what to do with it once it got ready to bake. But they all went home with a bowl of dough to finish off.

Yep, not as easy as it sounds.

I have done a few at my church as a fundraiser for the food pantry. Mine was lecture only with good handouts and lots of goodies to eat. Yep, it's a lot of work to be sure you have dough ready at the right time, but when it all comes together it's all worth it...especially if you get a disciple of the dough or two in the process. Most people are too busy/lazy to make bread on a regular basis.
