    Impossible to know without making it. It depends entirely on how stiff the dough is after mixing.

    Since step # 6 says to chill the dough until firm enough to handle, I suspect the dough is too soft for a cookie press.
    If you do succeed in getting it to work, don't be surprised if they do not hold their "pressed" shape during/after baking. They will probably spread during baking.

    Tip for Spritz cookies out of one of those press gizmos... do NOT grease/spray pan or they absolutley refuse to let go of press and stick to pan.
