    Meats are proteins, so they don't have carbohydrates. The carbohydrate count in that recipe is just for the spice mix, and it's for the whole amount, so you'd have to figure out how much of that mixture you'd be eating. It's negligible, anyway, as it's mostly fiber.

    In my carbo counting on my insulin pump says 15 grams/chicken piece.. it's a ball park estimate of the original KFC chicken.

    unless it's super high in fat (which can jack your BG up a lot), there is no carb in meat itself.
