Thank you! Those are all old food photos in my folders.

Lately I've really just made dinners to get food on the table -- nothing worth photographing.

Yes, Steve, this thread is so interesting because for the FIRST time I tried to see what those other options on my Photofiltre will actually do! icon_lol.gif Some of them don't do a thing: I click on some word I do not understand ... and nothing happens!

But what fun when something does happen! I do think with that "radial blur" one could do something clever. If I only knew what. icon_lol.gif icon_lol.gif

Ok Zurie count me with the majority because that last photo is so good and so pretty.

Archie very nice job with radial blur.

Archie, you wizard!! My so-called "radial blur" only keeps a tiny bit in the middle in focus, then blurs the rest of the photo.

Yours have everything in focus, but it seems as if the food itself is revolving madly!! rotfl.gif Love it!!

My program cannot do that. But what interesting twists we're seeing here! icon_lol.gif

Zurie to create the swirl on photofiltre...

mask the middle bit of your picture (so it only does that bit and not the whole photo), then look under the "FILTER" menu look down for "DEFORM" and the use "TWIRL".. you can alter how much it twirls etc (remember you can undo to have another go)

    Wow, clever Steve!!! icon_biggrin.gif

Sorry I wasn't around much. And I do not even have Thanksgiving as an excuse, being in South Africa! Let's just say I had some busy days, so did not get around to all the posts here.

Next time I have a photo with an interesting centre I will try that. Thanks -- that is a really brilliant idea.

might be an idea to book mark this topic if you want to reference back to in in the future as I'm sure it will now slide down and down and be hard to find..
