in october or november of 2011, i saw a recipe for pumpkin soup served in a pumpkin on martha stewart's show. i tried it for thanksgiving and it was the best! i thought i saved it, but no. it was a savory soup and you served a little bit of the pumpkin as you ladled it into each bowl. i cant find it this year. i didn't remember it having any cream in it. thank you

Did you try the recipe search bar? I found this right here in the database, but the pumpkin bowl isn't cooked and it contains cream. Martha Stewart's Pumpkin Soup in a Pumpkin

You can download a free copy of Martha Stewart's 2011 Thanksgiving cookbook for free in PDF format. There is a pumpkin soup recipe in there. Not sure if it's the one you are looking for, but the free cookbook is worth a shot.
