    Pomegranates have many health benefits for people. It can keep bad LDL cholesterol from oxidizing. When bad LDL cholesterol oxidizes, arteries harden. When they harden, strokes and heart attacks happen.
    Pomegranate juice hinders blood platelets from clumping together. It has been shown that people who drank 8 oz. pomegranate juice a day improved the amount of oxygen which got to the heart.
    Pomegranate compounds may keep prostate cancer from happening or it can slow down pomegranate cancer. For women it might help stop breast cancer.
    It has even been shown to help arthritis from getting worse. It reduces the swelling and the enzymes which break down cartilage
    get less active.
    It can cause problems to people taking diabetes medication, having high cholesterol and those with hypertension. You might want to speak to your health professional before eating or drinking this daily.
