    Would jarred horse radish work for this recipe, if so, how much

    Sure, but make sure it's plain horseradish and not the creamy horseradish sauce.

    I think even the creamy horseradish would be fine in this recipe, since there is a lot of mayo in it, although I would use more. A teaspoon, anyway.
