Newbie "Fry Cook" Poster
Good afternoon members,
The same old food I've been preparing for 54 years of married life has become too boring to even think of.
I recently became enchanted with Cajun music and short of moving to the Bayou right away, I'm going to start preparing some Cajun food. I printed out the recipe for Shrimp, chicken, and andouille jambalaya. It sounds yummy and I'll give you all my evaluation in a few days.

Newbie "Fry Cook" Poster
It was as delicious as I'd hoped. The Wegman's andouille sausage wasn't as hot as what I usually get from North Country Ham in NH, but with some added Frank's hot sauce it was great.
Today I bought some andouille at Walmart and will make the recipe again soon.
We're having the leftovers for lunch today and will have to play my Jo-El Sonnier's cds.
