Hi my partner Jackieohno is out of town ups left the package on her porch on the 23 . I wrote her about this she said she was going to check with her neighbor to see if she had gotten her package. I have not heard back from her. Just thought I would update on my package that I had sent hope she got it ok.

Lauralie - Thanks, I'm plugging along, I think the physical therapist finally convinced me it is arthritis (level 4 on the medial femur which is where the pain is). I'm on celebrex, but they say it will take 2 weeks to see if it works for me. I'm hoping because I'm too young to lose this much mobility.

morgainegeiser - I have a Fannie Farmer cookbook and there are some great recipes in it. Hopefully enough to keep your mind focused on the good things around you. Wishing you the best!

Coffee - wow, I would have loved to re-do my old kitchen, but I actually like the one I'm in now. Unfortunately my husband won't let me remove the drywall and make the one wall a great big bookcase. Mean hubby. Living through the kind of construction where they're moving walls sounds like it it will be a challenge. I know you can't wait to see the final product, I'm assuming it will be ready for the holiday cooking? post pictures when it's done!

    Thanks all!

I"m so happy for you Jackie...but concerned for you as well with the storm coming. Be safe and be careful. I'll be in prayers for all our east coast friends. I hope you don't loose power or these cookbooks won't be useful to you for awhile. icon_lol.gif icon_lol.gif (((HUGS)))

That Fannie Farmer one looks interesting Morgan. Is that all baking type recipes? The reason I ask is bc we used to have (years ago) a Fannie Farmer chocolate shop that sold only speciality chocolates. They were replaced by a Fannie May's...and now there's nothing. icon_cry.gif

I did hear from Gypsy that she received her pkg. from Jocie. She's making a long distance travel trip with her GS and has only limited internet use with her phone. She'll be back to post soon.
