Here's a sweet little story
Puppies Keep Lost Boy Warm All Night
By Caroline Golon
When ten-year-old Kyle Camp went missing from his Hackleburg, Ala. home last week, no one could have anticipated how they would eventually find him.
According to NBC Nightly News, Kyle’s family and more than 150 local volunteers frantically searched for the boy, who has Down Syndrome, all night in the surrounding woods.
At the same time, another mom was searching for her offspring…the family’s dog, whose four puppies had also disappeared.
Nearly 18 hours and a chilly fall night later, the mama dog heard her pups barking in the distance and led searchers right to Kyle and the four puppies.
Kyle was unharmed but wet and not wearing any shoes. His family said the puppies kept him warm and calm throughout the night.
Jamie Swinney, the volunteer searcher who found Kyle in the creek, told NBC, “I asked if he was alright and he said yeah and he just wanted to go home.”
